Please don't tell me I'm the only one who thought it was a giant Scootaloo who had stolen Dash and incapacitated her and held her until she fell asleep.... Then realised how cute it was that she had a Dash plushie =3
Awwww. This is adorable! It really captures and emphasizes Scoots' adoration for Rainbow Dash. I like Scootaloo's anatomy -- it makes her look a bit like a plushie toy. A plushie toy that is... large, and warm, and fuzzy, and alive, and that loves you back. Her limbs are stubby, but look completely natural (as far as "natural" goes for these ponies). I can't tell what kind of shading you used, but I like it, especially under her bangs/fringes. The distinct sharp-ends on her mane & tail, plus the shine, snags the eye. The main focus of the picture is the Dash plushie however (which, might I add, is an ingenious and brilliant contrast that doesn't clash), which was excellently designed. You can see the little stitch marks, noticeable enough to forward the fact that it is a toy, yet they don't detract from the rest of the doll. The doll's mane and tail also possess the same merits that a real mane and tail does, matching Scoots'. And then there's the calmly happy expression on her orange face that suggests that she is sleeping, but she could also just be at peace, cuddling with her idol.
Damn RD, you need to adopt Scootaloo. You know, if she doesn't have parents.
